On a rainy night he sits playing some forgotten tune, classical piece,

Or better yet some rock and roll, when the spirits are soaring high.

Remembering the nights he gave you his heart and soul,

And us dancing around in the wind swept night like no other...

And bound to our destiny as we chose our path like no other...

But somewhere along the way, within each others dream

Came a storm that seemed to spoil the show, and dampen the dream,

Nearly ripping the pages of music right out from within.

And the dance for us both stopped short of the song like no other...

And for our destiny we then chose for each of us like no other...

Remembering the love that two free spirits can burn as passion,

Steal my heart and soul away, that was only for you at that time,

But never can anyone take his love for his piano, and his music,

Nor the dance he chose to dance in love with once again.

	LORI发表: Nice poem. You can't write really good lyrics or music when you're happy. You have to go to the places of darkness to create the best and deepest verse it seems. Who was it? Beethoven or Mozart would create circumstances so their depression would heat up and then they could become creative and deep enough to write their masterpieces. It's called some syndrome.
